order to send our kids to camp this summer. We have reserved 30 spots for kids and 5 for sponsors. The cost per person is $325. Several fund raising efforts have been planned. Let me tell you about them.

First, ever popular car wash and pancake breakfast for the morning of April 2nd in the Fellowship Hall.

Second, when we have our quarterly business meeting on Sunday, April 24th, the youth will serve spaghetti for us for lunch that day instead of the usual pot luck we have when we have our business meetings.

Third, we will be selling discount cards for Papa Murphy’s Pizza (a $30 value) at the Connection Center starting this Sunday for $10 each. You can pick one up this Sunday, go by Papa Murphy’s after church, and have pizza for Sunday lunch!

Fourth, we are receiving donations for the Youth Camp Fund. The cost for sending one of our kids to camp is $325. If you would like to sponsor one or more of our youth, make out your check to the church for whatever amount you feel led, and write “youth camp” on the memo line or on the offering envelope.

We will be posting our goal, what we’ve received, and what we lack each week in The Messenger, so you will know how we are doing in being able to reach our goal of sending 30 kids and 5 sponsors to youth camp at Glorieta this summer. Thanks!

Finally, as you know, we will be having our Community Bible Conference this coming week. Everything starts this Sunday at our church with a meal at 5:30 in our Fellowship Hall and the service to follow in our Worship Center at 6 PM.
