functional items must be accompanied by an index card explaining: name of item, how it is used and a listing of the recycled parts.

Items in this category must be durable, usable and not larger than 24" in any direction.

Each county limited to ten entries in each class. Maximum size: 14” high X 14” wide X 6” deep.

approximately 5’ high with 36” arm width. T-form must be used as skeleton of scarecrow’s body. 4-H’ers will furnish all other items

needed to create their scarecrow. Only one scarecrow per entry. Where: South side of Miller-Murphy-Howard Bldg.

____4-H INSTANT CAMERA PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST Contestant takes a photo at the 2018 fair on site with an instant camera (photographs in one self-contained unit using self-developing film).

Only one entry per person per class allowed. Photos must have a title. Print legibly on the back or with a printed sticker: name, address,

county, phone number with area code, division number, class, and title of photo. Photo judged on: impact of photo (20 pts), creativity and

style (20pts). Technical excellence (20pts), composition (20 pts), and storytelling (20pts).

contest which will be held at the Georgia National Fair. See your local Extension Office for details and rules of the contest. Deadline for

this contest is earlier for the State 4-H Office.
