INTRODUCTION

The claim group consists of 73 unnatented mining claims, seven (7) of which are included in this report.

On January 11, 2003, Picket line 1+OOE from the 1997 grid (Gwen Resources) was recut and two men chained to be used at the new East baseline for a distance of 800 meters. Picket lines were turned off the new baseline every 100 meters and stations established every 25 meters. The new detail grid is being read by both magnetometer and VLF-EM Surveys to help define the East/West contacts found in the ori ginal grid.

The re-cut and chaining was performed by Miss Wendy K. Weller and crew.

The magnetometer survey was performed by John E. Perron and the electromagnetic survey was performed by Miss Wendy K. Weller. All drafting, contouring and report writing was done by Miss Wendy K. Weller.

Ownership of the aforementioned mining claims has been attested to by 559505 Ontario Ltd, and The Perron Gold Corp., and was not inde pendently ascertained by the writer.

LOCATION AND ACCESS

Highway 672, better known as the Harker-Holloway Road, extends north-south across the eastern boundary of the mapped area. The property is therefore reached from Kirkland Lake by travelling 13 km east on High way 66, then 36 km north on 672 to the claims. Conversely, the claims may be reached by travelling 45 km east from Matheson on Highway 101 and then 14 km south on 672. (See Figure la and Figure Ib).

The majority of the property has been logged, and second 2000 growth consisting cf tag alder and/or willow is present. Sere of the logged area has been sprayed in order to stop the growth of deciduous trees and shrubs. Considerable areas have been replanted with pine. A few stands of spruce have been spared; generally cedar swamp have been left uncut.

Relief over the claims does not exceed 20 or 25 meters. The terrain is flat to gently rollins to rugged with the development of cliffs.

GENERAL GEOLOGY

(OGS-Geology) of Thackeray, Elliott, Tannahill and Dokis Townships)by L. S. Jensen states ((The area is underlain oy Early Pre cambrian (Archean) volcanic rocks. Northeast trending diabase dikes of Middle to Late Precambrian age intrude the volcanic rocks.))

The tholeiitic volcanic rocks occur in.Elliott Tcw.ship. The theoleiitic sequence is composed of three rock types, lev/-iron, magnesium rich tholeiitic basalt, iron-rich tholeiitic biiilt anc thole i i tic rhyoli te.

INSTRUMENTATION

Magnetometer Survey:

This system uses a backward motion of spinning protons or a hydrogen atom within fluid of hydrogen and carbon. These spinning magnetic protons are caused to have two opposite poles by applying a magnetic fluid using a current within a coil of wire. This frequency of precision is proportional to the earth's total magnetic field.

This instrument 1s read directly In gammas which is the absolute value of the earth's total field for that station.

The diurnal variation was monitored by closing each kop at any secondary check station, at a crid line, baseline Intersection. Diurnal corrections were applied by linear distribution of any obser ved variation over the tine between base stations.

Electromagnetic Survey;

The VLF-EM method uses as a source, several of the -ain submarine comminucaticns transmi ttcrs in the 15 to 25 k:i; band four.;: throughout the world.

The submarine communication radio waves-travel in a s i ne l e mode parallel to the surfaces of the earth slong the earth-air intersce.

VLF instruments are capable of picking up any structures that change the direction of the waves by measuring the tilt ancle being zero on flet ground, but when e. conductor is present, ;he tilt angle will acquire a finite value. The direction of til: indicates the direction of tha conductor.

Calculations cf such, pira.mstars as depth, depth extent, dip and width of the conductors is very nlnlr.al.

The VLF easily illustrates the location of ths upper J id tof dipping structures which car, te seen cr plotted as V," p.'crii:-: as areas of greatest chance in tilt angle per unit of distance.

The instrument used for this survey was a Gee-, i c s I'-'.-'.i Unit. The sensitivity cf this unit is IS for the inphase an: i', for the quadrature. The operating frequency for the EM-16 frc~ 15-23 kHz and the station is made by plug-in units.

Further information on the VLF and the magnetometer can :s found in the back of this report on the Technical Data end Assessment forms.

PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION OF RESULTS

i) Magnetometer Survey 2003: .

The field data is presented on Map No. EO-G/ZQOQ/Nng3 at a scale of 1:50,000 found in the back pocket of this report.

The magnetic data is illustrated as iscmogneticcontours, contour intervals 100 gammas, on a map of corre::e'Jmagnetic values recorded at each station.

Page 10: GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY REPORT onSUMMARY ] This report 1s a geophysical survey as required by T Ministry of Northern Development and Mines for assess-ent work purposes, following the reccn-endation

The magnetic trend is in an east to northeast direction. The magnetic relief ranges from 57,075 gammas to 60,127 gammas, a difference of 3,052 gammas. In 1993, Mr. R. K. Germundson mapped the contact of the Blake River Group and Kinojevis Group in the area of the magnetic high running through the center of the grid. Tie Line 1000S was established Lo help tie in the new staking to the old staking with the re-cut grid of 1999.

i i) Electromagnetic Survey:

The field data is presented on the Map No. E/2003/vlf. The map is drawn at a scale of 1:50000 meters, found at the back of this report.

In this small section of the new south grid, three dis tinctive anomalies were found.

Ql - Crosses PL600E 850S to PL800E 800S.The area has no visible outcrop showings. The topography of the area is flatlying cedar swamp and second growth of alder and poplar and pine. The quadrature is positive. At the present time the VLF Survey is being run through a fraser filter program to help eliminate background noise.

Q2 - Crosses PL500E 1245S to PL1125S.The area has no visible outcrop showings. The topography of the area is flat, heavy second growth of alder, poplar and pine bogg. The quadrature is negative.

Q3 - Crosses PL100E 365S to PL400E 285S.This contact may possibly be associated with the Blake River and Kinojevis contact. The topography of the area is very thick second growth of alder, poplar and replanted jack pine, to a cedar swamp. The quadrature is negative.

OBSERVATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS

The re-cut of this grid is to help define the contact between the Black River and Kinojevis Contact for the purpose of a diamond drill program.

Respectfully submitted,

January 27, 2003 Miss Wendy K. WellerGeotech
