AMEC skills and servicesThe study, covered two of Libya’s largest oil fields the Ghani and Amal fields. An initial concept study looked into potential economic and environmentally sustainable uses for the gas, such as pipeline transportation to the coast for export, local power generation, or re-injection back into the oil fields as a method of enhancing oil recovery from these fields. The second part of the study was a FEED, which produced a more detailed engineering solutions and costs for the most cost effective solutions identified during the concept phase.
