MIC OVERVIEW

Since 2008, over 45000 construction workers nationally have had completed our Suicide Prevention General Awareness Training.

• Mates in Construction commenced in NSW in March 2013 Since then more than 5500 construction workers have completed our Suicide Prevention General Awareness Training and

• 330 workers have completed a course to become a “suicide alert helper” Connector and

• 34 workers have completed a course in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills, this workshop helps people to provide immediate assistance to someone with suicidal thoughts.

• 80 workers have been under case management in relation to mental health issues.
