The Colours HotelProject

Colours Istanbul, the newest member of TheColours Hotels, has come into service in thecentre of attraction, Güneşli. One of the recentfavourite hotels both in The Colours Hotelsgroup and Istanbul, Colours Istanbul consists of3 basement floors, the ground floor, 11 typicalfloors and the penthouse. The hotel welcomesits guests with 160 rooms, a restaurant and abar, an indoor pool, a fitness centre, amenitycentres, meeting rooms and a parking garagefor 60-vehicle capacity. In this respect, we haveintegrated the air-conditioning project to alarge-scale structure.

Samsung VRF systems have been used in theair-conditioning of The Colours Istanbul. 23outdoor units with 1030 KW power capacityhave been used in the hotel which has beendivided into 10 different zones in order toachieve system efficiency. Thanks to variablerefrigerant inverter compressor, we aimedminimum energy consumption in partial load.

Comfort, silence and aesthetics, the mostimportant features for hotels, were among thetopics we concentrate on our operation. For thispurpose, we preferred low static pressure ducttype devices as indoor unit in the hotel rooms.Finally, we used 4-way cassette type devices toensure the equal distribution of the climate wecreated. We completed the project with a total of235 indoor units.

Of course, the easy and convenient control forThe Colours Hotel air-conditioning system wasalso important.We implemented the central managementsystem in the project by employing individualcontrollers as well as other controller that canoperate from a single point. Also the system thatwe set up made it possible to archive all the datarelated to device management on a computersystem with high security.
