The annual Global Business Service sector event looks forward to your participation to aid in shaping and stimulating the African economy, and in doing so positively transforming the social and economic framework of tomorrow.

Make an Impact…Change a Country…Leave a Legacy

The world needs a new heroAfrica is home to 1.3 billion people. That’s 17% of the world’s population. By 2050, that number will grow to over 26% of the world’s occupants. If the world stands idly by and does nothing, there will be too many people for the rest of the global population to support.

To meet this challenge BPESA, the GBS sector body and trade association along with national government partners, the dti and local provincial and city partners in Durban, KwaZulu Natal invite you to attend the 2019 GBS Investor Conference and Awards event to share in the exchange of ideas and experiences that will inform Government policies, initiatives and investment going forward. With a focus on the 2030 sustainability goals; reduce Poverty, Inequality, and Unemployment the GBS sector in South Africa has put up its’ hand in a solutions-oriented approach to positively impact these pressing challenges.

Dynamic engagements and thought-leadership approaches will be shared by globally renowned Executives expressing how they believe we should address issues such as Talent engagement, Employee financial wellness, Youth financial literacy and Next Gen Leadership to increase the financial health of Africa and secure the future of our global, digital economy.

Investors from across corporate North Americas, Australia, the United Kingdom and beyond have been invited to attend and play their part by enabling Africa to secure its ‘fair share’ of the Global Business Services market – an outcome we believe will be more easily realised once the world understands the dynamism that Africa has to offer.

This conference is the main event in the 2019 / 2020 calendar for the Global Business Services Sector in Africa, however, the far-reaching implications of this event will affect many industry sectors across the continent and impact the lives of millions of Africans for years to come.

Now is the time of connectedness and the world needs to act ‘as one’ if we are to meet this emerging crisis. We believe this platform offers that opportunity – we look forward to seeing you there.
