o Department of CSE and CSI student body chapter organized CSI State Level Student

Convention on 1st& 2ndFebruary 2018. A huge response came for this event from

other Engineering Colleges. Nearly 157 plus students registered for this event. We

The faculty of department continuously publishes papers

Faculty members are encouraged to do NPTEL courses and some of our faculty members are

awarded with Elite Certificates.

INTEC/IETE activities are conducted by the students every week. Activities include Power

point presentations, Technical Quiz, Group Discussions etc., are included as a part of

Personality development training which will be useful for all placement drives.

The faculty in the department regularly participates in various National and International

Research Grant

Dr Krishnaveni has applied for IEI-R&D –Grant-in-aid-Scheme under UG Programme for a

project titled “Automatic Speed Detection and collision avoider Radar”. The status of the

project is under review.

a. ISF Technologies(Startup) of Bharat and Sunil of IV/IV ECE got selected in first

400 startups all over the world in Smart Fifty conducted by Dept of Science and

IIM Kolkata and were awarded 1 LAKH Cash prize .The startup was also selected

as the best start up from Vizag in BigShift conducted by Inc42 and Amazon.

b. Four of our Third years stood amongst the top five for their prototype developed

in view of Smart Irrigation for the field in Mori Village.

INTEC: The Department started an association named as “Intellectual Technocrats of

Mr. S. Sandeep, Assistant Professor has enrolled for Ph. D program in the Department of

E.C.E at Gitam University, Visakhapatnam in the month of November 2014.

BSNL extended the AICTE-BSNL EETP program for the II Batch i.e 2012-2016 and selected

top 10 students of the batch for the said program.
