Governor Resource Collection Essex Governor Services
Welcome to the Governor Resource Collection. In order to better serve the school governors and clerks of Essex, we are continually revising the GRC and now have a range of resources in various formats to support you in your role. The GRC is organised alphabetically by format and title. An index of items by content is also provided. Borrowing an item couldn’t be simpler. When you have made your choice, note the title and code number, contact the GRC administrator, Victoria Terry on 01245 436210 or email [email protected] and ask her to send the item you require. Online items can be directly accessed from the catalogue on the Essex Governors’ Website www.essex.gov.uk/governors under the heading Information to support you. You can also use the online booking form. Please provide your full name, your school, the item code and contact information. The item, if available, will be sent to your school for you to collect. There is no charge to Essex governors. Loans are for six weeks. If you are partially sighted and would like help accessing any title, please ring Governor Services on 01245 436210. As indicated in the following pages, some items are under review and may no longer be current or available at the time of your order. We will attempt to find a suitable replacement. Training Link Governor workshops will explore which items would be helpful for particular areas of work. If you think there is an area that we haven’t covered, or know of a resource that you feel would be particularly helpful, please let us know. We hope you enjoy the collection and find it useful. Look out for the RC symbol in Gateways, this means resources on the featured topic are available to borrow from the collection.
