Waterfront on the Pier has a function space dedicated to creating memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
The whole restaurant and venue space boast breathtaking views of Port Melbourne., whilst also being blessed with ample natural light.
With a large vacant space, the venue offers you the flexibility to choose your own room layout and can accommodate a number of different wedding styles and corporate functions.
Our food style is creative and we are able to respond directly to your tastes.

Venue Hire and Minimum Spend Our function space has a minimum spend which will be disclosed to you upon your interest request.
The minimum spend is to be reached with food and beverage spend alone.
What’s included in the minimum spend • Venue Hire • Function Coordinator • Staff service • Tables and Chairs • White linen and napkins • Basic tableware and glasses
Do you cater for dietary requirements? Yes, our aim is to provide suitable options for our guests. We do require enough notice to accommodate all special requests.
What is the next step? Our Function Coordinator will contact you and send you the packages and our expression of interest form. The Function Coordinator will then organise a meeting for you to view our function space and discuss your requirements, menus and prices, and the Event Booking form is then filled in. The Function Agreement and the Summary of Event is then sent over, along with a payment schedule. A deposit is required within 7 days in order to confirm the date.
When do I have access to the venue on the day of my booking? Additional charges may apply if different access times are required.
When do we have access or when can we deliver items for our event? Access and delivery of any items such as equipment, decorations, place cards will have a pre-arranged time for drop off and the wedding cake is only accepted on the day. All items must be collected and taken off site by the end of each event. Nothing is permitted to be left on site.
Can I have a band / music? You may have a live acoustic band or DJ. Please note that drums and amplification systems (e.g. electric guitars or keyboards) are not permitted.
Does your venue have a PA system? Yes, we do have an in-house system that is appropriate for our cordless microphone and iPod or laptop music to be plugged in. It, however, is not suitable for other equipment such as DJ or band equipment.
Where can my guests park? Car parking is available at the front of the venue to all visitors on a first come first service basis.
Where can my guests get a taxi? You will need to order a taxi using your own mobile phone or you can ask one of our friendly staff.
Do you offer menu and wine tasting? Yes, we offer menu and wine tastings for functions
What if the ceremony is held earlier in the day? We have different areas for your guests to wait and we can cater for those that are wanting something to eat & drink, we are able to have the bar open earlier for purchases. Our Function coordinator can arrange a package tailored to your needs.
How long is the duration of our function? Lunch and Dinner celebrations including cocktail functions are for a duration of 5 hours.
Can we have a longer duration than 5 hours for our event? Yes, you can pay for extra event time.
