ISSUING OFFICE RFP documents may be viewed/downloaded at http://ci.billings.mt.us/bids.aspx.DEPOSITThe current budget for the project is $1,203,000 and includes professional services, construction, and administration costs.EST. COST

The initial objective of this project is to evaluate, develop, and recommend options for the renovation of the City of Billings Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Laboratory facility, located in the rear of the WTP Operations Building. The existing lab has some aspects that no longer conform to code, and the space is not being maximized. The majority of cupboards, cabinets, and shelving are old and in need of replacement. In addition, some of the fixed equipment may need upgraded or replaced. The second portion of the project will be to formally design all renovations and create a bid package (plans and specifications). Finally, the chosen consultant will provide bidding and construction administration services, including inspection and project close-out. The lab, and all other activities within the WTP Operations Building, must remain fully operational throughout the design and construction process. Prior experience with water treatment laboratories is preferred, but not required.
