Double win for Isaacs in SuperM at Phakisa circuit Lance Isaacs entered unknown territory when he decided earlier this year to enter his two-bike team into the SuperGP Champions Tro-phy for 2016. It was a big gamble for the Capetonian who spent most of his career on the handlebars instead of running a whole team. His team-mate Justin Gillesen will race at his side in the SuperM. Isaacs himself will participate in the SuperM and SuperGT series. As soon as the first round started on the Red Star Raceway, the uncertainties and hard work paid off with two wins for Lance and two podiums for Justin. It was on the handlebars of his RIL BMW S1000RR that the FUCHS rider took the departure in the SuperM and SuperGT categories. The second round took place at Phakisa Free-way in March and the rider was rewarded with podium finishes. “Double win in the SuperM and a double 3rd place in the SuperGT at Phakisa Freeway, that's what I call BMW Motorrad South Africa power”, said Isaacs. “There’s something about winning... You just want to keep going!”

Nic Pienaar enthusiastic about FUCHS lubricants Nic Pienaar of the Super Moose/JT Racing team, sponsored by FUCHS SOUTH AFRICA LTD for a number of years, uses a wide range of FUCHS products. Engaged in the National Enduro OR1 and E1 classes, he races on a Husqvarna FE 501. “FUCHS Silkolene PRO 4 SAE 15W-40 is an outstanding clutch lubri-cant that gives a longer clutch life. Racing clutches usually need to be replaced every 70 to 80 hours. Using FUCHS Silkolene PRO 4 SAE 15W-40 we do a clutch replacement about every 150 hours. Oil changes are usually every four to five hours but with the FUCHS product it is every seven to eight hours. The oil keeps its viscosity and, probably the most important fact, it doesn’t overheat, especially in the recent high temperatures. We also use FUCHS MAINTAIN DOT 5.1, a brake fluid product. Recently, a rear brake pad was so hot that the brake pad bent around the suspension. Other brake fluids fail at these high temperatures, at about 3500C to 4000C. But with the FUCHS brake fluid, the brakes worked perfectly even at these high temperatures”, said Pienaar.

First podium for Justine Charroux FUCHS Silkolene rider since 2010, Justine Charroux will repre-sent the colors of her sponsors in the seven rounds of the French Women’s Motocross Championship and the seven rounds of the MX Women’s Motocross World Championship this season. 2015 French Motocross vice-champion, this 23-year-old rider approaches the French and world champions with great professionalism. She distinguished herself in the first French round with a 3rd place on the podium in a field of forty riders, who had taken the departure on the Château-Gontier track. She will bring in all her experience and expertise acquired since 2007 to race for podium places this season. One of her main rivals, Livia Lancelot, the French title holder for the past five years, is a professional and engaged in the MX World Champi-onship. “My goal is to get myself as close to the title as possi-ble. Livia Lancelot is a top rider and it will be difficult to beat her. Many competitors are emerging this season among the top 6, which presages nice battles on the track”, said Justine. The woman rider signed 8th place in the first race of the MX Women's World Championship in Qatar. Again, the places will be hard to conquer and contenders for victory are many. But Justine is a passionate rival and her peers will have to beware of her perseverance and endurance. The young woman is currently teaching part time in the Pro-Stage school located on the Somme and regularly trains to validate her objectives. Her mechanic uses many lubricants from the FUCHS Silkolene range. “I am particularly pleased with all the FUCHS Silkolene products that are perfect for my Kawasaki YZF 250.”

Before a spellbound audience, the seventeen Ice Speedway riders were dueling mercilessly. Franky Zorn, who presented himself in excellent shape, was dominating the races winning all rounds and the final. Acclaimed by his fans, the incredibly talented FUCHS rider stepped on the top of the podium. “Weissenbach is a very technical track and an extremely important event in the world of Ice Speed-way. It is a great success for our team who did a great job”, Franky Zorn said full of praise. “The tests were promising with highly gifted and motivated riders and exciting battles.” A thrilling race, in which Franky Zorn was fighting against big names such as Ice Speedway rookie Manfred Seifter who won 2nd place and the German Günther Bauer ranked 3rd. Franky recognized that they were very fast. Good omens for the upcoming races!

Cyril Raymond announces his ambitions After winning two national titles and proving his performances in 2015 on the international circuits by winning 2nd place on the podium in his two appearances at RX Lites, this year Cyril Raymond aims to participate in the entire RX Lites Champion-ship within the program “Discovering young talent” of the team Olsbergs Mse with the status as official Red Bull driver. His goal: to enter his name in the records of this category, which is the entrance to the world's top level, the World RX. This young, ambitious and promising rider was crowned Junior Champion of France in 2013 at the age of 20 at the end of his first season in Rallycross. The following year, he reaffirmed his exploits by winning the Super1600 title. With a limited budget, Cyril reduced his commitments in 2015 to four appearances that he transformed into triumph. His two participations in the French Supercar (the highest national level) were crowned by two victories. Internationally, he left his mark on the RX Lites (F2 World Championship), finishing in 2nd place in the GPs of Canada and Spain. Thanks to his performances, he received a proposal from the Olsbergs Mse team and the official support from Red Bull, partner n°1, for the 2016 season.

Throughout the 2016 season, he will use all his talent to compete with the seasoned drivers in this championship. With an average age of 25, RX drivers (Word and Lites) are among the most promising and competitive sportsmen in the car racing world. The championship which already welcomed such illustri-ous champions as Petter Solberg, 2003 WRC World champion, or Mattias Ekström, double DTM champion, will be upgraded by the arrival of nine-time World Rally champion Sébastien Loeb, and Ken Bloc in 2016. Currently, Cyril Raymond is preparing to compete in the first race of the RX Lites Championship to be held at the legendary Hockenheim Ring at the beginning of May. At the same time, designers are currently finishing the decora-tion for the car in the FUCHS colors for the first race of the season.

Adele Innocenzi, bold and combative Passionate about the world of motorbikes for many years, Adele Innocenzi started racing at the age of 28, a time when most of her competitors are thinking of retiring. A real lifestyle for this thirty-six-year-old who has been making progress since her appearance in this sport. She is 100% committed and goes beyond her limits. “The bike gives me unique emotions, the desire to excel and always achieve new goals. Reiterberger and Torres cross the line together, 7th and 8th at Chang

When the sun was rising over the Buri Ram track (Thailand) on March 7 for the second round of the FIM Super Bike World Championship, the grandstands were already filling with many enthusiastic fans who cheered the riders on. The fans were singing and drumming all day long. In the morning, the fans were able to take part in a pit walk (the crowd included more than 200 BMW Thailand customers), flooding into the pit lane and lining up for photos and auto-graphs with the Althea BMW Racing team riders. Jordi Torres and Markus Reiterberger were touched by the many smiles and the dedication offered by the fans. In Thailand, Jordi is a real star, thanks to his great character and the positive results he achieved here last year during the second round of his first year in the World SBK. Markus, who thanks to Friday’s result is already contributing to the championship’s statistics (the first German rider to finish inside the top five since Max Neukirchner’s 3rd place finish in Valencia in 2009), overcame his shyness to interact with the fans. With the crowds as a backdrop, the day’s track events got underway. First the 15-minute morning warm-up to refine the electronics of the BMW S 1000 RR bikes, followed by Race 2,

an exciting race that once again kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

THE RACE (20 laps, 91 km) Markus Reiterberger and Jordi Torres started from 9th and 10th position on the grid respectively. The track temperature was 54°C. A few laps before the chequered flag, the two Althea BMW riders were racing to the line side by side, putting on a show within the show, but it was the German who crossed the line first, just 23 thousandths of a second ahead of the Spaniard. In the general standings, Jordi Torres holds 7th place with 33 points and Markus Reiterberger is 9th with 28 points.

The next World SBK round will take place from 1-3 April at Aragon in Spain.

For this edition, they shared a stand with the motorcycle and ATV dealer, Quad Moto Shop. It was the opportunity to introduce the new range of FUCHS Silkolene products presented at a new and attractive display stand. The FUCHS staff welcomed the visitors, informed and presented them with a nice looking product catalogue in Czech including a price-list in the same design. A real success!

Promising weekend for FUCHS Silkolene sponsored Lara Small at Brands Hatch

Finishing 20th of 37 riders in the first race, good grid position in race two saw FUCHS Silkolene sponsored rider Lara Small battle for a very impressive 4th place, just missing out on a podium place in the Thun-dersport series. Full of confidence Lara headed straight into race three of the day where despite some excellent racing, she slid into the sand trap at Brands Hatch’s famous Druids corner. The next day was slow to start with Lara finishing a disappointing 26th but ready to make-amends, she prepared herself for the final race of the weekend, aiming for a podium finish. Despite her best efforts for 3rd place, she again slid into the same sand pit and was out of the race. Beating her best times and previous lap records was mild consolation to the lack of a podium, but Lara is looking forward to the next round around Donington.

Ahlin gives CA1 Sport a magnificent start

The 24-year-old Swedish driver Fredrik Ahlin got CA1 Sport’s MSA British Rally Championship campaign off to a magnificent start when he finished 2nd on the Mid Wales Stages in his Ford Fiesta R5. David Bogie finished 4th in his first major event in his new CA1 Sport-run SKODA Fabia R5 whilst tarmac expert Alex Laffey was hoping a solid run on the Mid Wales Stages would give him valuable experience of driving on gravel. However, the 26-year-old Carnoustie-born driver’s first gravel rally in five years ran into trouble when his Ford Fiesta R5 suffered a holed radiator on SS2.

Drew was still finding her feet in this new grid but managed three decent finishes in her heats before claiming 4th in the semi-final and a place in the final. An early knock put Drew to the back of the pack but she chased hard to secure 7th overall. Throughout the day Dave secured one heat win and qualified on the second row of the grid in the final after finishing 3rd in the semi-final. Overall securing 4th position in his first ever round in the Super Car category.
