nights when the layer of air next to the ground contains moisture.

* Frost kills plants by freezing their fluids.

Fact 5 Black Frost?*Black Frost is another term for

intense cold that blackens and kills vegetation—no actual frost is involved.

Fact 6 Protection of plants?*Fruit growers protect their orchards

by burning fires, or by placing heaters at intervals to raise the air’s heat.

Fact 7 Resistance *The more moist your plants are the more frost

resistant they are.

Fact 8 Hoar Frost’s formation *Hoar frost might form as liquid dew that has

subsequently frozen with a drop in temperature which is known as silver frost or white frost. This kind of frost is dangerous for many plants.

most?* Plants that usually suffer the most are the

species that have originated from Asian cultures such as bamboo.

protect their plants?• Frost usually occurs during the transition of

Winter and Spring so that would be the best time for farmers to protect their plants from frost.
