FrontInvest enables the centralization of contact information and documents. Additionally, any user can quickly view business interactions, meetings, and tasks across an entire organization, aiding in the streamlining of business processes such as Investor relations, pipeline management, and portfolio management. To avoid the duplication of contact information, FrontInvest can be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook and Exchange.

The workflow management feature automates and facilitates organizational processes such as the investment pipeline, the budgeting approval and monitoring processes, the valuation process, and the processing of transactions. FrontInvest captures, stores and backs up the full scope of characteristics of real estate investments, such as complete lease details, historical cash flows, budgets, valuations, development projects, and projections, as well as market data or external benchmarks used to monitor investments.

Smooth Data Exchange and Integration

Data integration is a critical element of the real estate business. FrontInvest provides a full set of features to facilitate data exchange and integration with external parties (asset managers, general partners, providers of benchmarks or market data, etc.) and other real estate software. Data such as asset characteristics, market data, benchmarks, cash flows or general ledgers can be automatically loaded in the software, avoiding time-consuming and risky manual operations. Create, Manage, and Monitor Budgets FrontInvest budgeting tools include the automatic creation of budgets based on assets information (through the Modeling module), the management of the internal budgeting process (initial budgets and reforecasts) within the client’s organization, and the monitoring of budgets. Actual figures can be automatically loaded; FrontInvest automates the analysis of the budget variance, whether for an individual investment or at the portfolio level.

Report and Monitor PerformancePerformance indicators (IRRs, multiples, capital, income, total returns, etc.) are automatically calculated by FrontInvest. In one click, managers can monitor their positions and track key performance indicators of individual assets, a subset of the portfolio (by asset class or geography, for instance), or the whole portfolio. FrontInvest automates the benchmarking of the portfolio against real estate indexes.

FrontInvest offers a set of dashboards for managing directors where real-time information can be displayed for analysis and reporting. FrontInvest’s reporting capability facilitates ongoing performance management and reports.

Manage Investment RisksFrontInvest reporting and modeling capabilities offer risk managers the ability to perform detailed analysis on the key risk factors of assets and portfolios, and perform what-if analyses. Analyses such as the leverage of the portfolio and the monitoring of covenants, exposure to specific geographies and asset classes, top key tenants, roll over risks, and exposure to third parties (co-investors, banks, asset managers, fund managers, etc.) are fully automated.
