Our front mounted mowing equipment is attached to the Un-imog’s quick-change-system and well suited to one-man-op-eration. The front-axle locking device (torsion frame) prevents chassis distortion – in this way the equipment can also be used over rough terrain.

The MFK 500 power arm has a range of up to 7.0 m and can be used either for right-hand or left-hand operation. The drive is provided either via the vehicle power hydraulic system or via front PTO-shaft.

Due to the lateral shift (1800 mm) of the flail arm the MFK 500 is perfect for the work close to the carrier vehicle and in narrow roads.

For the MFK 500 we offer a vast range of versatile working attachments – high performance in all working situations.

a range of 230 degrees controlled via the control unit. Therefore you can react easily when an obstacle pops up while mowing. You can also rotate the working attachments into the ideal working position for hedging and flailing.

Due to the special power arm geometry and the compact front trans-port position of the MFK 500 a “2in1-operation” is possible since there is still room for a water tank or extra working attachments.

All MULAG-power arms are applicable with a various number of working attachments throughout the whole year. For every task of the roadside maintenance, which varies from mowing to hedg-ing or washing, there is the adequate working attachment in our large product range.

Precisely because of the special boom geometry and the front-side transport position of the boom device a “dual-use” application is conceivable, whereby the carrier vehicle provides rear side space for a salt spreader or the like to be used during the seasonal tran-sitions of the weather. So you can react more flexibly to the pre-vailing conditions, for example with salt spreading in the morning and hedge or wood work at noon.

CAN-Bus Control System

The individual system components (i.e. control unit, controller and con-trol block) work together using the CAN-Bus System. The integral diag-nostic system identifies faults in-stantly and helps to avoid expensive equipment downtime.

Safety-Stop

All our working attachments can be stopped by means of a brake valve within 4 seconds. With attachments equipped with the Mähtronic-flail arm relief control system, the cutter shaft slows down automatically whenever it is raised off the ground. This means extra safety when using the Mowing-System.

From 2000 rpm down to 0 rpm within 4 seconds!

High flexibility for municipal use

MULAG Counterweight

A modular ballast system is available to counterbal-ance the carrier vehicle.

Thanks to weight plates of 350 kg which can be com-bined together it is possi-ble to obtain the following counterweights: 350 kg, 700 kg, 1050 kg and 1400 kg. The counterweight is mounted in the rear brack-ets (D50) and can be adjust-ed in the longitudinal axis of the carrier vehicle.
