This has reference to our earlier letter of even number dated 30 Sep 20L4in connection with the

above subject. This letter was put on hold pending clarification on testing charges as per revised policy.

The matter has been considered by the Competent Authority and our earlier letter of even number

dated 22 Sep 20L4, intimating you renewal of recognition of your laboratory ' holds good now' and

should be treated as official letter of renewal of recognition.

As a matter of information, letter dated 22 Sep 2014 is also once again attached for information of

all concerned.

subject :-Recognition of your lab under BIS Lab Recognition Scheme 2013

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your application seeking BIS recognition of your laboratory and the subsequentassessment(s)/correspondences made in this regard, we are pleased to inform you that as decided by theCompetent Authority the recognition of your lab operating at the address "B-38-39, Phase V Focal pointLudhiana Punjab " has been granted for a period of three years from 15 July 2014 to 14 Juty 2017 andtherecognized scope of your lab is given as Annex-l

The testing charges for product as per relevant Indian Standards, for which your laboratory is recognizedare indicated against each Indian Standards in Annex-l and shall be valid for a period of 3 years effective from15 July 2014.

The recognition which is valid till 14 July 2017 shall stand automatically withdrawn unless renewed furthersubject to satisfactory performance of your laboratory based on periodic revied surveillance by BIS. Therecognition shall also stand withdrawn if renewal is not sought by your laboratory in advance of the expiry datealong-with the prescribed fee.

It may be noted that recognition is subject to terms & conditions laid down in BIS Lab Recognition Scheme2013 available on our website (www.bis.org.in) and also the Undertaking given by you ilong with theapplication form- Your laboratory shall carry out its operations as per the specific instructions contained in ourabove BIS Lab Recognition Scheme.

In case your laboratory is found violating any of the provisions of the Scheme or the undertaking given byyou, the recognition of your laboratory may be suspended or your lab may be derecognized Uy-eIS. fnlconditions under which recognition of a laboratory can be suspended or the lab can be de-iecog nized are givenin our BIS Lab Recognition Scheme.

Also please note that this recognition does not bind BIS to make use of the facilities available in yourlaboratory; your services will be made use of as and when required, at the discretion of BIS.
