Co-written by performer Jade Blue and director George Dillon (HeraldAngel Award winner) and inspired
by Paul Auster, 'Against the Odds' is a charming, funny and deeply moving one-woman show. Flora is adisturbed young woman who has an unbearable insight into the human predicament. Harry, her father, is
an ordinary man with an extraordinary dilemma. One woman. One story. One thousand possibilities.
Tonight, the audience decide. Tonight, chance and choice collide. Sometimes, whatever you choose, you
lose. 'A stunning piece of theatre, which provokes without undermining the audience's perceptions. Well
worth seeing!' **** (WhatsOnStage.com); **** (FringeReview.co.uk)

A half-human, half-horse's brief bedsit encounter with a tiger. Set amongst films, animations and props,
the piece looks at the implications of desire, regret, illusion, delusion and our inherent animal/human
natures in a surreal and offbeat way. A combination of contemporary flamenco technique, mask work
and physical theatre, rooted in the trip-hop audio visual genre. Juliet trained in visual arts before
studying flamenco to professional level. Her work places the more obscure and darker elements of
flamenco's roots in new unorthodox contexts. Supported by Escalator East To Edinburgh and Colchester
Arts Centre.
