Cold Weather Uniform Date We will have a Cold Weather Uniform Day on Monday, December 11th. Students may wear jeans, BT shirt, BT sweatshirt or outerwear, and another heavier jacket. We will keep you updated as to whether Tuesday will also be a cold weather day.

Stewardship Renewal All school families must have an updated commitment with the parish to be considered a stewardship family. If you have not yet turned in your pledge, please do not delay. The Parish office needs to input all new information by January 1st. Thank you!
Trinity Catholic Placement Test The Trinity Catholic High School Placement Test for current 8th Graders is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, December 9. Check in - 8 am Test ends - 11:30 am ish No Calculators TCHS will provide pencils, paper, snacks, water, and a cinch bag Students must test on or before Dec 9th to be eligible for our Scholarships - Academic, Art, Band, and Chorus. On-line Application and $90 payment must be received to test.
Other School Happenings
Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee This past week, our Middle School students competed in the Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee.
The winners of the 7th & 8th grade competitions are Kaelin DesJardins (runner-up) and Mathias Tanangkingsing (1st place champion 7th & 8th).
The winners of the 5th & 6th grade competition are Annalise DeLaBarrera (runner-up) and Aeden Young (1st place champion 5th & 6th).
Please join me in congratulating them and we will recognize all the students after our mass on Wednesday, January 17th.
Class Picture Notes
Order Your Student’s Class Picture!
To order your student’s class picture, please visit the Leonard’s website, www.leonards.com. Log in with your existing log in information or create a new account. The access code for class pictures is G413655. You will then be able to select (or add) students and choose between the class picture (package 1 - $15) or the laminated class picture (package 2-$18). Class pictures will be delivered to the school. We will distribute them as they arrive. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Hildner in the school office.
Requesting Photos for Yearbook! Mr. D’Ambrosio is collecting photos for the 2017-2018 Blessed Trinity Catholic School yearbook. Please send your group candid photo(s) from any BT event (Athletic function, Dance, Church, etc.) that you would like to share. Photos may also be used on Facebook and/or on the School’s website. 4-H Robotics
Carline Notes Elementary: Cars should utilize both lanes in the morning and in the afternoon. Middle School: The carline should be single file in the mornings. Please DO NOT drop students off either in front of the gym or at the crossroads in front of the outside basketball courts. ALWAYS drive forward to the picnic tables. This is for the safety of our students. You have time! Tardies do not start until 7:55. Thank You! Both lanes will be open in the afternoon.
The Return of MyCokeRewards
Last year, Coca-Cola Co. made changes to their MyCokeRewards program. One of the changes was to bring back the school donation program. Blessed Trinity, once again, has the ability to enter codes from all Coca-Cola products to earn money for our school. Please bring in the codes from bottle tops, 12-pack boxes and/or plastic cases and turn them into the front office if you’d like to help.

Box Tops
We are starting our Christmas Box Top collection. Each class needs 500 Box Tops (400 for K) to meet the goal and earn an out of uniform day. The deadline for this collection is Friday, January 5th.
Important Reminder
Eighth grade parents, If you have not yet submitted your graduate’s baby photo, see the following message from Mr. D’Ambrosio: Low resolution photos cannot be used in the graduation presentation and I request that you please use the following guidelines when sending me your child’s baby photo: • Student should be 0 – 12 months of age in photo – One picture only!
• Photo resolution should be at least 640 X480 (the higher the better) • 300 DPI Preferred (200 DPI Minimum) • Do not use your phone or tablet to take a photo of the photo • If you do not have a scanner, please send the photo in with your child. I will scan and return the photo the same day. • Please email me, [email protected], in advance if you choose to send the
photo in with your child.
KONA ICE is coming! Kona Ice is coming to our school for a Fund Raiser this Tuesday, December 12!

Students should bring money to classroom teacher in an envelope labeled “Kona Ice.”
New Visitor Check-in Procedure Beginning Monday,
November 27.
When students return to school after the Thanksgiving break, we will be implementing new visitor check in procedures in all of our school buildings. Please help us keep our school as safe as possible by following the new procedures. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
1. All visitors must check in at the elementary school office or the primary school office using KeepNTrack, our visitor management system, and receive a visitor sticker which must be worn by the visitor while they are on campus.
2. At the time of check-in, the visitor must submit their driver’s license to the receptionist. It will be held at the receptionist’s desk and returned to the visitor when they check out.
3. In addition to the visitor sticker, the visitor will also receive a visitor lanyard which is visible from a distance. When the visitor returns this lanyard to the school office, their driver’s license will be returned to them.
7 Habits Parent Training
Listed are the dates for 7 Habits training sessions for parents. All training sessions are held in the school library from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. and again from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. The next training session is scheduled for Thursday, November 9.

This week, Justin Bianculli picked up his Christmas Store order. In doing so, he noticed all his money was still in the bag. The gift store ladies had forgotten to take his payment. He told his homeroom teacher. Thank you for being so honest!

Game Notes
1. Parents, When attending games, please supervise your children and do not allow them to play in the lobby area of the gym. This is not an appropriate area to play. This area is designated for concession stand purchases, restrooms, etc. We want to keep everyone safe as well as maintain our athletic facilities. Just this week, a ball was thrown and put a whole in the drywall. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. 2. Students who go to aftercare should go and check-in instead of coming directly to the gym.
Elk’s Club Free Throw Contest
3rd-8th Grade students competed in the Elk’s Club Free Throw Contest this week in PE. We would like to congratulate the following students for winning in their age group.

School Choir Announcement
On Tuesday, December 12th, we will have our regularly scheduled Choir Practice in the Choir Room. For the first part of the practice, we will share some treats to celebrate the upcoming Christmas Season. Please bring a snack to share (cookies, brownies, candy, or any other treat you like) Mrs. Atkinson will bring the paper products and the drinks. We are not going to carol at Elder Care this Christmas Season, but we will be visiting them and singing with them in the Spring. I will send along the information about that sometime in February. Choir Members and Parents: Thank you so much for your dedication to our Choir. I appreciate you all so much, and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a year full of blessings.

Children’s Christmas Play
O Come All Ye Faithful! ….and talk to your kids about getting involved in the Children’s Christmas Play! It will be a “Joy to the World” to sing with them! We will have practices on Saturday, December 9th and 16th from 9-10am, and from 9-10:30am on Saturday December 23rd in the choir room. Any child of any age who is able to stand and sing in a costume is welcome to participate! Please spread the word and contact Liz Cook at [email protected] or 629-8092 for more information!

Come listen to the Adult and Handbell choir as they have their Dress Rehearsal for the Midnight Mass Prelude Music. All are welcome! EDGE Christmas Social Friday, Dec. 15th 6:00-8:30pm Join us Friday, 12/15 for a campfire, Hayride, S’ mores, Christmas Cookie Decorating Contest, Caroling and more. At The Westgate’s House – email [email protected] for the permission form, address, and gate access code. (Confirmation with those details will be emailed early the week of the party) (If you have already sent an email, you do not need to resend. We will send confirmations early next week – thanks!)
What to bring:
Completed permission form 6th grade - 1 dozen Christmas cut-out cookies, non-iced (for decorating contest)...
7th grade GIRLS - bring 1 container of cookie sprinkles or similar cookie topping 7th grade BOYS - 6 regular sized Hershey bars (for s ’mores) 8th grade - bring 1 tubed icing (for cookie decorating)
Lawn Chair (optional) for youth (or any adults who may want to hang around) So we can have enough S’ mores, drinks, and supplies please RSVP at [email protected] no later than 12/14. Hay Ride Help! We have a trailer for the Edge Christmas Party Hay Ride, but we are looking to borrow 6 bales of hay or straw for the trailer. While the bales may get a bit beat up, we are hoping someone would provide them for our use for the evening of 12/15 and that they can then use them on their farm/homestead. We have a few arranged, but let us know if you can help!
New Edge Shirt? Pre-orders and most of the recent shirt size orders will be available at the Christmas Party. A new order will be placed with the printer soon for some of the recent requests for sizes that we ran out of. Additional requests will be taken at the check-in table. Edge shirts are $8 each. Father Pat’s 3rd Sacrament Meeting Fr. Pat’s 3rd Sacrament meeting will be on Sunday, January 7th at 9:55 AM in the Gym. The make up for this class is Saturday, January 13th at 9 AM, in the chapel of the church. The meeting is mandatory for parents of students making a sacrament this year and confirmation students. Gift Shop It’s time to start thinking about Christmas shopping! The Gift Shop Christmas Sale will be held December 4-7. All volunteers must be fingerprinted and cleared by the Diocese.
