Goals

1. Promote scientific exchange and development of collaborative work between academic research teams, companies and end- users, and provide durable and reusable expertise and know–how,

2. Give researchers high-level equipments with a facilitated access,

3. Increase the visibility of the French robotics academic research and its international impact.

4. Boost the competitiveness of French robotics companies and open new markets based on robotic technologies.

• 26 research teams in 15 laboratories: around 500 researchers and engineers

• Investments of 9M€ of robotics equipments on the platforms mostly completed by the end of year 2013

• Financing of 8 years of exploitation starting in the year 2012 until 2019

• Centralization of the information about the access to the platforms by external partners and the associated expertise

• Development of a network of scientific and technical expertise

• Organization of technical workshops (“techdays”) for robotics engineers:

• 1st workshop in Toulouse in July 2013

« Le premier objectif de ces journées est de faire se rencontrer l'ensemble des personnels ingénieurs et techniciens de nos laboratoires, afin qu'ils se connaissent, qu'ils identifient des problématiques et intérêts communs, et qu'ils travaillent mieux ensemble » 70 personnes présentes (majoritairement Ingénieurs IR / IE / AI / T) Programme :

• Réalisation d’un état des lieux des compétences et des savoir-faire • Recensement d’équipements et de développements logiciels • Table rondes et sessions thématiques • Visite du LAAS
