Year over year web traffic will increase in the smartphone and tablet segments. As the technology improves and becomes more affordable, consumers will continue to increase their usage

As shown you can see that quarter after quarter mobile usage in commerce is at a steady incline.

Companies have created sites like dudaONE to help companies create sites that will work across the different web platforms consumers have available to them.

Mobile friend website

Easily accessible

Little or no scrolling

Tied to your history

Mobile friendly sites like Amazon allow user easy access to everything the company has to offer without all of the clutter of the full web version.

As with Amazon, BestBuy and Express both use the same functionality. Have more vertical mobile designs, that are easy to read and navigate.

Sites that are not mobile friendly

As you can see with xtremepowersports.com, without having a mobile friendly version consumers are forced to scroll up, down, left, and right. As mobile consumers want to use a mobile site that is easy to navigate and use, Xtremepowersports would not be a good example to follow.

As with Xtremepowersports, Bike Bandit has not entered the world of mobile web design. This seems to be an industry standard in power sports, as none of the major parts suppliers have made their sites mobile friendly.
