Calling All Veterans...... We want to honor YOU! On Monday, November 11th, we are hosting our annual Veterans Day assembly and are asking all veterans to join us. If you, a family member, friend or neighbor have served in the Armed Forces, please plan to be here and be recognized for your service. We would love for you to attend our assembly from 9:00-10:00 AM and stay for the refreshments and to chat with the kids. Please RSVP to me at detweiler.eric@d46.org so we can get a general headcount. Please wear your uniform if possible! In addition, attached to this newsletter is an information form for students to share information about a service man or woman they know. This could be a family member, friend, neighbor, … We would love to add more to our “Wall of Heroes” in our MultiPurpose Room. During the battle, spies managed to add nickels, dimes, and quarters to

the containers in t e ltip rpose roo ,while fortifying their own base

with PENNIES AND BOX TOPS.

Pursued by other classes’ sinister agents, PRINCIPAL DETWEILER races home aboard his starship, custodian of the coins and box tops that can save his students and restore

freedom and fun events to Frederick….

Instead of clipping, all Box Tops will be earned digitally via receipt scan. You’ll now download the new and improved, user-friendly Box Tops app. Simply register, select your school (Frederick School) then scan an eligible receipt containing Box Tops products. You’ll earn 10 cents for each Box Tops product purchased plus extra earnings for any Bonus Box Tops opportunities. The app will automatically add Box Tops to your school’s earnings online, giving visibility to see how you are supporting

your school in real-time.

You’ll see the new Box Tops icon on the majority of the participating products by the end of the summer, with all packaging expected to be transitioned by early next year. As it will take some time to change all the packaging from a physical Box Tops clip, the Box Tops for education program will continue to honor all physical clips until they reach their expiration dates, as long as they are validly submitted by you school, so keep clipping and sending them to in during the collection events. (However, don’t send in the new Box Tips icon used to mark products that are eligible for Box Tops earnings via receipt scan in the new Box Tops App.)

In fact, during the transition, most brand teams are awarding both the receipt scan earnings and the traditional clip earnings for a single item purchase. You can “double dip” during the packaging transition by clipping the physical Box Tops AND scanning you receipt with those participating items.

Please not, a few brands are not participating in the “double dip”. Receipts with these items will return a message in the App that they are “clip only” with a reminder to submit the physical Box Top form the package to their participating school.

Book Fair of Gift Cards! Follett Book Fair Gift Cards are digital. Simply select the amount you would like and 

print it at home or email it to the recipient. It’s that easy, and there’s no expiration date! Students can shop the fair without carrying cash or checks. After the fair, any leftover 

balance can be redeemed on our online store, or at our next Follett Book Fair.
