BLOOM BALL PROJECT Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick * IMPORTANT INFORMATION * 1. Each of you has been given 9 labeled circles and 2 blank circles. The blank circles are “mistake” circles and should only be used if needed. Should you need any more copies of the Bloom Ball circles, they can be found on my website: mshenry205.weebly.com. 2. Write answers, sentences, and paragraphs on ANOTHER sheet of paper FIRST BEFORE COPYING THEM ONTO YOUR FINAL PAGES. Ask a parent or guardian to look over spelling, grammar, punctuation, and content before you rewrite your answer on the circle. Your final product should be VERY neat and accurate! 3. When writing on the final Bloom Ball Project pages, write in pencil FIRST, then trace over your letters with a FINE POINT BLACK MARKER. (Writing in a thick marker will cause the words to run into one another and it will not be easy to read. Moreover, writing in a different colored marker other than black will make the words difficult to read. Save the “color” for your background and illustrations!) 4. Do not write or draw on the outside of the lines. Anything written or drawn outside of the lines will NOT show up when the ball is put together! 5. DO NOT CUT OUT THE BLOOM BALL CIRCLES! The actual assembly of your Bloom Ball Project WILL BE DONE IN CLASS! You are only responsible for bringing in each of the Bloom Ball Project pages completed and colored. 6. The more creative and colorful you make each of your pentagons, the better your grade will be! However, the most important aspect is what is WRITTEN in the circles.
