WHAT IS THE FRCC GREEN AWARD ?

In urban areas it is particularly important to adopt a “green approach” to protect our sites of

natural beauty, the treasures of our heritage, and to respect the local population.

Ports of Nice-Villefranche Santé, Cannes and Golfe-Juan have adopted the ISO 14001

environmental management standard for all their activities.

The French Riviera Cruise Club is acutely aware of the importance of protecting the

environment, particularly the marine environment.

The FRCC has set up a Green Award based on the following criteria:

� Waste

� Marine environment

� Environmental approach

For the fourth year, the French Riviera Cruise Club will present the FRCC Green Award to the most

environmentally friendly ship calling on the French Riviera in 2013.

We must act together and we must act now:
