Fracking in the Coalfields Tour A day trip to some highs and lows of Greene County sponsored by the Pittsburgh Sierra Club and Center for Coalfield Justice. Come out to see the impacts firsthand of longwall mining and fracking happening in the same place. Then enjoy a beautiful hike at Ryerson State Park. Here is a list of what you will see on this tour: Fracking sites Largest Coal Processing Facility in Country Coal Refuse Disposal (Valley Fills) Coal Belt line Massive Gas Processing Facility Coal Mine Portal Don't forget about visiting the amazing Ryerson Station State Park where we will take a debrief hike.
