Cyber‐bullying and the Posting of Inappropriate/Illegal Materials Students who use electronic communication such as social networking sites (Ex.

gFacebook, Snapchat, Twitter), texting or video host sites (Ex. You Tube) for the purpose of bullying or harassment of another student are in violation of the DCHS Respect Code policy, but are also subject to State of Iowa Bullying/Harassment policy violations.  

Students who post inappropriate materials to social host sites (Ex. You tube, Snapchat, Facebook, or Twitter) depicting illegal activities are also subject to the Respect Code Policy.  

Don’t post anything you wouldn’t hang on the front of your locker!

Integrity Policy  ‐Cheating   Dowling Catholic High School defines cheating as using someone else's words, 

work, and/or ideas, and claiming them as your own. An Integrity Violation also occurs anytime you ALLOW another student to use 

your words/work as their own. Cheating consequences (over all 4 years):

1st incident = grade of zero on assignment/test/paper, loss of exemption

2nd incident = removal from the class with an F, loss of exemption privileges for the remainder of your time at DCHS, and loss of opportunity to earn any academic medals or honors

Cell phones – not allowed during school day unless otherwise directed
