be used for Ash Wednesday.
My loving parishioners,
It is already time for us to start thinking about the season of Lent as we will be beginning this grace filled Season this Wednesday. Please see the bulletin today for more information regarding the schedule for Ash Wednesday, Stations of the Cross, and Lenten Potluck dinners on Friday night (before stations). Please note also the change of mass time on Fridays during the Lenten days - we will have a morning mass at 8:00 a.m. instead of evening at 6:30 p.m.
During this wonderful season of Lent, we enter into a season of preparation, self-reflection and repentance when we seek to literally “turn around” and realign our lives and focus toward God. It is a time to give up things as well as take on new life-giving practices, helping us rid ourselves of distractions and our own selfish desires. By doing so, we seek to live and love as more faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. I wish you all a blessed time of Lent to prepare yourselves to participate in the sufferings of the Lord and thereby to receive the eternal glory the Lord has prepared for us.
May God bless you all!!!
Fr. Antony Rajesh MSFS
