GNSSN the Idea of
Global Forum for Education and Training Under the GNSSN
A number of Steering Committees supporting education and training focus on different safety areas,
topical groups on education and training, active work of regional and knowledge networks have a
significant focus on education and training, regional training centers, training providers
20
How do they
communicate,
coordinate, learn from
each other, build on
each other’s
achievements?
GNSSN
provides a
platform for
sharing

Conclusions and possible future actions
22
1. To explore the working mechanisms of a potential GNSSN Global Forum on
Education and Training in order to:
1. Look at common issues, conclusions and strategic lines of action in education and
training arising from the work of the thematic safety groups and regional networks
under the GNSSN
2. Find synergies and overlaps amongst the different E&T groups , identifying efficient
ways of supporting each other for fulfilling the gaps i.e. between TSOs, Regulators,
Training centers and regional training providers
3. Advise the implementation and assessment of the strategies in Education and
Training
2. Underpinning the Global Forum it will continue the work of the topical groups and
steering committees on education and training
