BRAD DEUTSCH MEMORIAL FUND Fourth Annual Brad Deutsch Memorial Golf Tournament Set for June 14 The Adrian Country Club will host the 18-hole, best-ball tournament LUVERNE, Minn. -- The Fourth Annual Brad Deutsch Memorial Golf Tournament is set for Friday, June 14 at the Adrian Country Club in Adrian, Minn. Space is available for the four-person, best-ball tournament, which benefits the Brad Deutsch Memorial Fund and Scholarship. Cost of the event is $50 per participant and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, post-tournament meal, prizes and a donation. To register, contact the Adrian Country Club (507-483-2722). Charitable donations and prize contributions are also welcome. This year’s event will kick off with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. A new addition to this year’s event will be donations and contests provided by Dixon Golf – a Tempe, Ariz., based company that manufactures the world’s only high-performance, eco-friendly family of golf balls. The Brad Deutsch Memorial Fund was founded in 2010 by the friends and family of Brad Deutsch – a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Minnesota National Guard and a member of the Luverne Fire Department who passed away on Jan. 20, 2010 following a car accident. The fund that bears his name was established to continue Brad’s legacy of helping others including the Brad Deutsch Memorial Scholarship – a perpetual award associated with the Luverne Dollars for Scholars program.
