Moeller has designed a complete line of enclosed, ready-made

starters that are ready to install and use immediately. The entire SYST-M

family is fully modular, so availability is generally

from stock. The line is designed for a variety of applications to 60 HP

(@575V), including basic non-reversing and reversing starters. Both configurations

are also available in non-combination and fused combination designs.

Ready-made, but rugged At the heart of every SYST-M starter is the new Moeller

DIL M contactor. Five different DIL M horsepower

ratings are available within the SYST-M series,

including 10, 20, 25, 40 and 60 HP units.

of your application.

Each SYST-M starter is pre-wired in a

heavy duty NEMA 1 enclosure with back

plate, grounding terminals and knockouts.

A variety of control optionsPre-assembled pilot device kits come in many

configurations, from 2-position and H-O-A selector

switches, to START/STOP pushbuttons with a pilot

light. A manual RESET button is also pre-installed on

the front cover. All pilot devices are from Moeller’s

outstanding RMQ-Titan line – the most attractive,

well-built buttons and lights available.

Accessories are easy to select and install Optional Control Power Transformers (CPT) are

available with both a primary and secondary fuse block

and fuse. There are four incoming voltages to

choose from, including 208, 240, 480 and 600.

Output voltage is 120V to match the contactor.

You may also select a 5-wire plug-in adaptor

for use when the starter is controlled from a

remote location. As with all SYST-M components,

accessories are pre-wired with plug-in technology for fast

and easy installation.

Reliable protection Each SYST-M starter includes a ZB thermal overload relay. Eleven

different sizes are available to complete the starter, and provide

adjustable settings for 0.1 to 65 full load amps. Every ZB

relay in this range is a Class 10 device, providing superior

protection against overloads and extending motor life. And,

because of its direct mount design, the ZB relay and resulting

starter command a very small footprint.

Plug-in speed and convenience The essence of SYST-M starters is their

choose, all starters come equipped with plug-in

connectors for pilot device modules and control

power transformers. This not only allows us

to build and ship quickly, but allows you to

change components in a snap.
