This collection of formulations is the result of a systematic work on Indena’s active ingredients.

Our purpose was to offer concrete and validated solutions combining our actives in different systems, including completely green options.

In most cases the combination with specific esters and special polymers has also created formulations with a highly sensorial profile.

Since more than 90 years Indena has been providing safe and clinically tested ingredients and is now offering an applicative support to his partners in the development of innovative cosmetics.

EYE INSTANT LIFT is a smooth formulation for the eye contour area. On the side of the actives, it is a multicomponent product intended to counteract eye puffiness and bags, dark circles as well as fine wrinkles and crow feet.The formulation is devoid of perfume. The pleasant perceivable note is due to the content of Zanthalene®, which adds a characteristic fragrance to perfume-free formulations.

From Indena, it contains:

ESCIN BETA SITOSTEROL PHYTOSOME®: potent capillary protectant, has a strong anti-oedema activity as well as an anti-inflammatory profile. The presence of beta sitosterol and the Phytosome® form endowes escin with a greatly tolerable profile in this delicate area.

XIMENOIL®: vasoactive on capillaries, in the formulation it counteracts dark circles and improves blood flow.

ZANTHALENE®: documented as an instant lifting agent specifically tested on the crow feet area, it provides an immediate improvement in skin roughness and reduces fine wrinkles.

PLUMPING LIP BALM is a rich formulation for lip care. Unlike other similar products devoid of water, this formulation contains up to 15% water with the highly hydrating Xilogel®. The formulation is devoid of perfume. The pleasant perceivable note is due to the content of Zanthalene®, which adds a characteristic fragrance to perfume-free formulations.


XILOGEL®: highly characterized polysaccharide obtained from the seeds of Tamarindus indica, has strong hydrating properties. Film forming, endowes the formulation with a peculiar smooth and silky touch and is immediately perceivable on the lips.

ASIATICOSIDE: pure molecule obtained from Centella asiatica, it promotes collagen synthesis and helps the skin find a better connectival architecture. On the lips, it reduces the vertical lines at the skin/mucosae interface and improves lip appearance.

MEDITERRANEAN PROTECTION is a rich and velvety pot cream blended with mediterranean active ingredients providing anti-ageing properties.The formulation is devoid of perfume. The pleasant perceivable note is due to the content of Zanthalene®, which adds a characteristic fragrance to perfume-free formulations.


OPEXTAN®: olive fruit extract, contains verbascoside, a polyphenol typically present in the olive fruit but not in the olive leaf. It has shown a remarkable antioxidant capacity over time.

HELICHRYSUM ITALICUM: from the “plant of the sun”, the Helichrysum italicum extract is rich in arzanol, a newly identified component very active in terms of antioxidant, lenitive and antimicrobial properties.
