About Rehearsals Rehearsals for Freaky Friday will commence on Monday, June 21 at 7.30pm. Rehearsals will then be held every Monday and Wednesday evening at Our Lady of the Way Sylvania and occasionally at Our Lady of the Sea, Miranda. Cast will also be required to attend Sunday rehearsals.

If you are successful in being cast in Freaky Friday, you should assume that you will be required for all rehearsals, however there will be a rehearsal schedule available. If you are unable to attend rehearsals, you must contact a member of the production team as soon as possible.

All cast MUST be available in all of October School holidays (Friday 17th September – Monday 5th October). If you have plans to go away then please do not audition as it is not fair on people who are available for all rehearsals.

About Freaky Friday An adaptation of the classic 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films,  Freaky Friday follows teenager Ellie Blake and her mother, Katherine, on the weirdest, strangest, craziest, freakiest day of their whole lives. Try as they might, Katherine and Ellie just can’t seem to understand each other: Ellie wants her mom to stop trying to change her, while Katherine wants her daughter to be the best version of herself that she can be. On a fateful Friday, the day before Katherine’s wedding, something magical occurs when mother and daughter swap bodies. Now, both will have to literally spend a day walking in each other’s shoes, learning about each other and the struggles each goes through and forging a new mother-daughter relationship in this hilarious, energetic, and moving musical comedy.

Casting Information and Requirements - Cast will consist of adults and children for both leads and chorus and all parts will be age

appropriate

- Some minor parts may be cast from the ensemble. The Production Team reserves the right to alter the number of ensemble during or after the audition process

- There are many featured roles in Freaky Friday. The Production Team may choose to double parts as necessary.

- Previous experience and looks/appearance may be considered in addition to audition performance when casting
