Forest Haven @ Lakeside Tips/Rules We’ve put together a few tips and rule reminders to help make your stay much more convenient and to keep our cabin in the condition you would want it to be in upon arrival: ! Please park all vehicles and trailers on the driveway. ! The key to the front door is in the lockbox. The code for your stay is 0905. ! Keep track of all remotes for all electronics during your stay. Lost remotes incur $50 charge. ! If looking for a place to eat or something to do locally, check out our Welcome Book for ideas! ! The cabin WIFI is ForestHaven and the password is navajo905. ! There are games and puzzles for our use while at the cabin. ! Extra blankets and pillows are stored in in various locations throughout the cabin for your use. ! Extra towels and toilet paper are located in the bathroom cupboards. ! There is a propane tank for the BBQ grill. Please keep the tank with the grill. ! Flashlights are located in the kitchen cupboard. ! Staircases in the cabin may be considered steep for some guests and should be used with caution. ! During winter months, there may be snow/ice present on front deck. Please use caution. ! NO SMOKING on the premises. A $50 fee will be charged if our cleaners report evidence of smoking. ! The fireplace should NOT be used the morning of your departure. ! IMPORTANT: One of the many reasons guests choose to rent Forest Haven @ Lakeside is because of its mountain location. Because of its mountain location it is home to many forest animals and we have learned through experience that it is best if guests are able to haul their garbage away with them when they depart. If you have a truck or trailer, whenever possible we ask that you haul your trash away upon your departure as part of the check-out process. We realize that this can be an inconvenience for some but appreciate the help. Otherwise, please place all waste in garbage can. ! VERY IMPORTANT: Before having an outdoor fire of any kind, guests should be aware of constantly changing local fire restrictions, especially in the hot summer months. GUESTS CANNOT USE THE FIRE PIT UNLESS THEY GET PERMISSION FROM OWNER VIA EMAIL, AND CALL BOTH THE LOCAL NAVAJO COUNTY FOREST SERVICE (928-537-5305) AND THE US FOREST SERVICE (1-800-309-7081). Because fire restrictions can change from day to day, the owner reserves the right to advise the guest to refrain from using the fire pit at anytime up to and through the guest’s check-out date. Failure to comply will result in forfeited security deposit. ! Call Blaine at 623-256-1222 in the unlikely event you run into any problems during your stay.
