1. You’ve downloaded the kit, now print it out. The clue sheets are an A5 page and will print as two to an A4 piece of paper. Tip: Print off the pages at 95% scale and trim the edges for an extra clean finish.

2. Pick your hunting zone, for example, around the house, backyard or neighbourhood park, and make sure it is safe for the hunters.

3. Cut out the illustrations in the kit that will be used by your hunters to find. You can also use Halloween props and decorations instead of the cutouts. Tip: You can make the hunt equal for all players by hiding one version of each hunt element, or make it competitive by only having one of each.

4. Hide all your elements around the hunting zone. The more tricky you hide them, the longer the game will last. Tip: If you want to be extra tricky, you can hide new elements around the zone while the hunters are searching for others.

5. Now it’s time to play. The hunters will need to solve the riddles and then go hunting.
