The Saint James School was looking to replace a Beynon Sports polyurethane floor that was over 20 years old. The existing floor had run its course, and the school was looking for a sports flooring solution that could meet certain criteria: durability, sports performance, and ease of maintenance. They also needed it to serve a multi-purpose function so it could be used for sporting events like Basketball, Volleyball, indoor Soccer, and Badminton, but also for non-sporting events as well.

Every year, the school holds the prestigious ‘Saint James Invitational Basketball Tournament’ where the best High School Basketball teams attend for a chance to win its prestigious trophy. In order for the flooring to perform like an “official” basketball court for the tournament, the Saint James School strong performance elements, and a classic wood grain look.

Their list of needs for this floor were extensive and they had researched a variety of competing products. Ultimately, they were left unsatisfied with the limited options available to them; their needs would not be met by any other system.
