known for our high quality products, individually made with unrivalled attention to detail. If you are

looking for a present with that extra special touch, all oskar&ellen toys come with their own reusable

mesh bag with cute fabric edging. All oskar&ellen products are handmade (hand sewn using sewing

machines) by manufacturers/sewing studios in Manila, Philippines. The sewing studios were chosen

more than 12 years ago by the founder of oskar&ellen, Petra Jinglöv, who lived in Manila for four

years.

Story Bags Children are new to our world, but with the help of stories they can begin to discover how things work around them and learn about good characters as well as others who may not be so trustworthy. Story-telling is a stimu-lating activity which helps develop the child’s creativity, imagination and emotional interaction and it can be so much more fun with these beautifully embroidered story bags. Here, the bag itself becomes the backdrop to the story and its contents – relevant finger puppets - help bring the characters in the story to life, creating excitement and a sense of adventure. These finger puppets can also be used in the Doorway Theatre toy (see page 4).

Song BagA cute bag which contains six different ”song clues”. The child puts his/her hand into the bag to find a finger puppet and then sings a song or Nursery Rhyme about this particular animal or object. PackagingThe products come in a nice mesh bag with piping and handles. A hangtag with Scandinavian Design, Handmade in the Philippines is printed on one side and the barcode is printed on the other side.

Care InstructionsWe recommend hand wash 40 degrees C for all items except the baby quilts, which are machine washable. Please iron your product with low heat or steam and your product will look great.

Production / Country of OriginAll oskar&ellen toys are handmade (hand sewn and by sewing machines) by three manufacturers / sewing studios in Manila in the Philippines. Each studio has approx. 30 employees and all employees are paid a fair wage imposed by Philippine Law. The working environment and conditions of the artisans are friendly and they have access to drinking water, fans and toilets. Mobiles are allowed during work. The continued orders placed by oskar&ellen provides job security and income stability for the workers at the studios.

MaterialsAll products are made from cotton, poly cotton, polyester, and rayon, sometimes felt. The fabric is dif-ferent for each product and is imported to the Philippines from Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and USA.

SafetyOur products, where applicable, adhere to European standards for toy safety – EN 71 1-3 and the Directive 2009/48/EC– and therefore carry the CE mark. We feel that it is important to stress that although our products are made of fabric it doesn’t mean that they are suitable for babies. The majority of the pretend play and activity play bags are suitable from age 3 years and above. The age around 3–6 is an age where the child is enjoying role-play and imaginative play and therefore this is the age when we believe the child will enjoy our toys the most.
