History of Shan Plastic Industry

The Shan Plastic Industry journey began in 1980, when the Company’s Founder,

Syed Muhammad Ali opened Shan Plastic in Karachi. Operating from a small space

at Nazimabad with one semi-automatic injection-molding machine, the young

company quickly became known for its quality consciousness, determination, and

enterprising spirit.

In 2000, with the creation of a new facility at the SITE industrial area of Karachi,

with new and upgraded machinery that includes the production of Air Line

Crockery, Hospital Crockery, Hotel Crockery, Dairy Products, industrial components

as well as conventional household items.

In 1996, with an eye to remaining at the

forefront of Pakistan’s widening packaging

needs, Shan Plastic Industry installed its first

fully automatic blow-molding machine,

branching into the creation of plastic bottles.

This forward-thinking step helped to widen

Shan Plastic’s customer base to include

renowned names from the FMCG and

pharmaceutical industries.

Today, Shan Plastic Industry uses cutting-edge

technology at its Karachi facility; providing a

range of packaging for indispensable products

such as personal and home care, food &

beverage, and pharmaceuticals. We proudly
