Our business concept is to design and develop innovative, fun, unique and colourful products that

stimulate children’s learning, imagination and role-play. Our products are designed by Petra Rigby

Jinglöv (mother of Oskar and Ellen) and made of soft padded fabric with beautiful attention to

detail. They have been carefully designed with children in mind and are all tested and loved by

children all over the world. While some of our products are suitable for younger kids, most of them

are designed for kids three years and older. All oskar&ellen products are handmade by women in

sewing studios in the Philippines. We do not mass-produce and therefore each product is unique in

itself. Our production is ethical and mindful of the environment. We pay regular visits to the sewing

studios in the Philippines and have a close partnership with the staff whom we have known and

worked with for more than twelve years. We believe that quality is always better than quantity.

ABC BagThis educational bag shows the alphabet and an animal corre-sponding to each letter. Both upper and lower case letters are embroidered. A fun and creative way to learn the alpha-bet. Goodnight BookA wonderful book, which will help create a comforting moment to your child’s bedtime routine. PackagingThe products comes in a nice mesh bag with piping and handles. A hangtag with Scandinavian Design, Handmade in the Philippines is printed on one side and the barcode is printed on the other side.

Care InstructionsWe recommend hand wash 40 degrees C for all items except the baby quilts, which are machine washable. Please iron your product with low heat or steam and your product will look great.

Production / Country of OriginAll oskar&ellen toys are handmade (hand sewn and by sewing machines) by three manufacturers /sewing studios in Manila in the Philippines. Each studio has approx. 30 employees and all employees are paid a fair wage imposed by Philippine Law. The working environment and conditions of the artisans are friendly and they have access to drinking water, fans and toilets. Mobiles are allowed to be used during work. The continued orders placed by oskar & ellen provides job security and income stability for the workers at the studios.

MaterialsAll products are made from cotton, poly cotton, polyester, rayon, sometimes felt. The fabric is dif-ferent for each product and is imported to the Philippines from Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and USA.

SafetyOur products, where applicable, adhere to European standards for toy safety – EN 71 1-3 and the Directive 2009/48/EC– and therefore carry the CE mark. We feel that it is important to stress that although our products are made of fabric it doesn’t mean that they are suitable for babies. The majority of the pretend play and activity playbags are suitable from age 3 years and above. The age around 3–6 is an age where the child is enjoying role-play and imaginative play and therefore this is the age when we believe the child will enjoy our toys the most.
