I am Siti Khairul Atiah Bt. Naziff student from Sunway University College would like to apply for the above position in your firm. I recently obtained my Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University with an Upper Second Class Honours. I have recently completed my final paper in ACCA and yet to wait for the results in February 2010.
The reason I applied for this position is for the purpose of completing the performance objectives required for the ACCA membership. Also, the experience and skills offered in the audit firm would be a stepping stone for me to start my career. And the fact that KPMG is one of the big four and well known internationally, therefore I would be able to get the best exposure by auditing big local and multi national companies.
I am a proactive learner, and also actively involved in extra-curricular activities organized by my university. I have actively participated in the Basketball event for the Sunway ACCA Club Mini Sports Day and also take part in the training programme aimed to enhance my presentation skill, which was carried out by Evo Training and Consulting organized by Sunway Tes.
My enthusiastic involvement in many activities outside of the academic circle has served me well in nurturing my leadership and communication skills, which are essential to succeed in the working world. Besides this, I am also a good listener, have a solid work ethics, desired to excel, able to meet deadlines and have no trouble in a fast paced environment.
