2. "Come" and See God's Glory in Zion (1-16)

2.1. "Your light has come" (1) ... The light of the LORD's glory.

2.2. "Nations will come" (3) ... The international attraction of His light.

2.3. "All assemble and come" (4) … The in-gathering of God's people.

2.4. "… the riches of the nations will come" (5);

"… all from Sheba will come" (6).

The wealth of nations are His (also 11).

Kampong Siglap (KS) Update & Prayer Request - POP: Consecration of KS on 8 Nov @ 8pm. - Ready for use in Nov 2019. - God's purposes & will be sovereign over this KS work & ours. - We are focused on the welfare & future of the beneficiaries

of KS, remembering that KS is the avenue through which we join in God's work.

Following from where we left off in Isaiah 55, what more can be said? For Isaiah has already told of the deliverance through Cyrus of the Jewish exiles from Babylonian captivity, of the Suffering Servant who saves God’s people, and of the promised restoration of and return to Zion. But in the oft-difficult time of the “now” & the “not yet”, who will live by faith as we await the consummation of God’s wonderful promises? And who will forsake such a glorious salvation and face God’s fearsome final judgment? As we conclude our Isaiah sermon series with Isaiah 56-66, may we be spurred to live faithfully in the sure hope of our Lord’s salvation & victorious return & His promised new creation, & be glad & rejoice in Him, with all the redeemed of the nations, forever. Let us pray for Dr Philip Satterthwaite, Dr Tan Lai Yong, Jason Sin, Elders Ernest Chew, Melville Szto, Daryl Liu, Joshua Quek as they take us through the series.
