The headquarter of Vertemati Racing is still in the same courtyard where at the end of sixties everything begun. But thanks to the experience achieved in the years, technical cooperations, victories and international races, the courtyard in Triuggio grew constantly up becoming a real factory with the possibility to develop in the phases of designing, manufacturing, assembling and final test. The incredible capability of the company is to design from black sheet to final product in an embedded environment.

We have one of the most diversified ranges of products in the industry. For our customers, this means that they benefit from a wide range of R&D services. The challenge: to develop the right engine-transmission concept for the corresponding application. With a wide variety of vehicles demanding 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine execution, we have the know-how and expertise to make it work. We use nothing but state-of-the-art simulation tools for the design and testing of its high performance components. As a one-stop shop, continuous improvement practices are firmly in place from design to application. Our methods are designed to meet the highest quality to cost ratio. Tools to simulate noise, vibration and harshness are already implemented at the first prototype level. We employ a wide range of rapid prototyping technologies such as a 3D printer, laser sintering, sand

Before manufacturing process the components are analyzed by appropriate structural softwares (CAE). After that the manufacturing is totally assisted by CAM software.
The 3D models are designed using modern CAD softwares Morover the drawings are convertible into neutral format like IGES,STEP etc..

Head for engines with bore between 78mm and 104mm - DOHC - 4 valves, valve lifter holder incorporated in the casting head - liquid cooled - Titanium or Steel valves
Cover head made from magnesium, this solution is particulary indicated for sport bikes and high-performance scooters.
Head for engines with bore between 78mm and 104mm - SOHC - 4 valves, rocker arm holder incorporated in the casting head - liquid cooled with Titanium-Steel valves, tempered steel pads for fine tuning.
This solution is particulary suitabled for off-road bikes and medium-performance scooters.

Cylinder Head for engine from 250cc to 350cc. - SOHC (Single Over Head Camshaft) - 4 valves, rocker arm holder embedded in cylinder head, - liquid cooled.
This solution is particulary suitable for scooters vehicle application.
This cylinder head is properly indicated as an update of 2 valves air cooled cylinder head. As matter of fact is possible to apply liquid cooling system on an engine with air cooled system by designing a new cylinder.

Engine crankcase design Our basic cylinder crankcase technology consists of aluminium casting with a cast iron liner. The machining/manufacturing process contains the following steps: rough machining and detailed machining of components, assembly, final machining of the assembly, honing of liner, deburring and high pressure washing process.

Transmissions design Our know-how is in selecting and designing the right transmission concept for the appropriate vehicle product. Our transmission systems range from foot shift or semi-automatic to the fully hydraulic modulated clutch system. Fatigue calculation is also a significant part of our expertise, as well as simulations, design and engineering.

Vertemati worked with Benelli Q.J. since the end of 2005 in order to achieve an off-road motorcycle. It approched us, having no experience in the field of off-road motorbikes, in order to design and develop a new and innovative bike that was built in record times; the prototype was presented at the motorcycle fair of Intermot Koln on the September of 2006. The success of the prototype was immediately exceptional, especially for the design and the search for innovative solutions. We are talking about Benelli BX 449. After the first prototype were built other bikes in different versions: cross,enduro and motard, improving components and adding injection and electric start models with different displacements. These ones were shown at motorcycle fairs of Paris and EICMA 2007 in Milano.

Since 2001 Vertemati provides engines for RST Racing. RST Racing is a small Swiss factory that produce ATV quad, founded by Roland Schwendimann. The company produces tens of quad hand-made every years: jewels of technology, power and lightness. Looking at the quad we immediately notice its main characteristics: high strength, dynamism and exclusive character.

Vertemati developed a new cylinder head for AEON scooters. This cylinder head is suitable for 250cc engine and 350cc engine, single overhead camshaft, 4 valves, liquid cooled. AEON has used this cylinder head in order to improve performance on its scooter engine. This result was reached replacing 2 valves air cooled cylinder head with this brand new one designed by Vertemati Team.

Vertemati worked for LIFAN Motorcycle and developed a brand new 450cc engine in order to achieve a road motorcycle.LIFAN is a large private enterprise mainly engaged in manifacturing and marketing of engine, motorcycle and automobile. Based in Chongqing, Lifan Holdings achieved a production and saled of 370800 cars, 1,5 milion motorcycles and 3,5 million engines motorcycles in 2013. In 2015 Lifan starts a new big project for a 450cc engine and engaged Vertemati Team to develop and manufacture the first prototype. Vertemati were be able to develop this new engine in only one year and give to LIFAN the final product, assembled and tested. Lifan will start a big mass production in the next future.
