Installing a Desk Between Two Cabinetsonto Drywall

1. Pull drawer(s) forward from the base cabinet(s) (1a). Removedrawer(s) completely by one of the methods shown below (1b). Pushslide rails back into base cabinet(s).TIP: Mark all drawers so they can be easily re-installed in theiroriginal positions.

2. Place desk frame piece between the cabinets and secure towall using appropriate wall anchors and screws.

3. Assembly three (3) remaining desk frame assembly pieces asshown. Locate cam and secure by turning right 1/4 turn (3a, 3b & 3c).

4. Use existing clearance holes in desk frame sides fordrilling location. Drill two (2) holes through side of deskframe assembly and into cabinet.NOTE: Use masking tape to prevent any possible chippingwhile drilling and backup with clamped wood block.

5. Secure desk frame assembly to base cabinet usingtwo (2) 1-1/2" connector bolts. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for otherend of desk frame assembly.

6. If desk frame is 60", 66" or 72" wide, install reinforcementchannel underneath worksurface toward the front.Secure using eight (8) 1/2" wood screws.

7. Re-install drawers in the base cabinets.

Installing a Desk with an End Panel onto Drywall

1. Pull drawer(s) forward from the base cabinet (1a). Removedrawer(s) completely by one of the methods shown below (1b).Push slide rails back into base cabinet(s).

TIP: Mark all drawers so they can be easily re-installed in theiroriginal positions.

2. Place desk frame piece between the cabinet and the end paneland secure to wall using appropriate wall anchors and screws.

3. Assembly three (3) remaining desk frame assembly pieces asshown. Locate cam and secure by turning right 1/4 turn (3a, 3b & 3c).

4. Secure end panel to desk frame with two (2) 5/16-18 x 1-1/4" bolts (4a).Use existing clearance holes in desk frame sides for drilling location (4b).NOTE: Use masking tape to prevent any possible chipping while drilling andbackup with clamped wood block.

5. Secure desk frame assembly to base cabinet using two (2)1-1/2" connector bolts.

6. Position desk frame bracket centered (top to bottom) on end panel (6a).Secure to wall using appropriate wall anchors and three (3) screws.Secure to end panel with three (3) 1/2" wood screws (6b).

7. If desk frame is 60", 66" or 72" wide, installreinforcement channel underneath worksurfacetoward the front. Secure using eight (8) 1/2"wood screws.

8. Re-install drawers in the base cabinet.

1. Pull drawers forward from the base cabinet (1a). Remove eachdrawer completely by one of the methods shown below (1b). Pushslide rails back into base cabinets.TIP: Mark all drawers so they can be easily re-installed in theiroriginal positions.

2. Place desk frame piece between the cabinets, making sure thetop and back of the units are flush.NOTE: The desk frame is a different height than the cabinets it'sattached to because there's no base. Make sure tops are properlyaligned.

NOTE: Before installing brackets onto V.I.A.-Using an X’acto knife, cut slots in the sealusing the furniture slots as guides.

10. Install bracket by inserting the top hook into slot,from step 9, then rotate remaining hooks into slots andslide down.

11. Secure end panel to bracket using two (2) 1/2” tapping screws.

14. End panel glides should be adjusted to ensure all glides are touching the floor.

12. Secure work surface bracket to desk frame siderail using two (2) 5/8” tapping screws. Ensure bracketis centered over the rear cam hole and flush to theunderside of the work surface.
