Magazine publishing: Microsoft Our suite of Microsoft enterprise customer magazines and partner guides focus on the company’s key enterprise industry interests. Each publication is designed to give readers the knowledge and insight to help maximise the value of their investment in Microsoft and partner technologies.

Speak discusses the retail, consumer and hospitality sectors, Finance on Windows offers high-level insights into current market trends in the fi nancial services arena, and Prime covers business-critical issues for manufacturing partners.

The magazines offer expert commentary on the issues that matter, helping customers understand how to plan and execute their IT strategy. For a growing number of partners, the magazines provide valuable opportunities for the communication of company news, customer successes and thought leadership.

Magazine publishing: ASGCA As the offi cial publication of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA), By Design is a trusted source of information for best practice in US golf design.

Editorial coverage ranges from broad issues such as economic considerations and environmental responsibility to specifi c topics such as turf selection and construction techniques. All content is designed to equip readers with the knowledge required to develop better and more sustainable golf facilities.

Magazine publishing: Temenos Global banking platform provider Temenos commissioned us to design and edit its company magazine, distributed to customers and prospects.

Serving an exacting readership in the fi nancial services sector, Temenos News follows complex developments in the challenging world of international banking. We work closely with Temenos to combine high-level comment, features, case studies and industry news, giving readers valuable insights into this sector.

Book publishing: United Nations Since 1999 we’ve been collaborating with the United Nations to produce books on key human development issues. Recent examples include our work with UNESCO in producing Tomorrow Today, a volume discussing the importance of education for sustainable development.

Michel Jarraud, Secretary-General of WMO, with whom we recently collaborated on the production of Elements for Life, said: “We have come to appreciate Tudor Rose’s professionalism and earnestness in ensuring the timeliness, quality and breadth of the articles.”

Book publishing: Samworth Brothers Samworth Brothers is one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers, turning over more than £650 million and employing 7,000 people. The company needed an update to its corporate history and commissioned us to write additions to the previous volume, edit the whole, and design the book around the fi nished copy.

Lavishly illustrated with pictures sourced from the company’s extensive archives, A Way of Life was published in hardback along with a limited edition of leather-bound volumes.

Book publishing: The Linacre Centre, Oxford The Linacre Centre is an academic institute that engages with the moral questions arising in clinical practice and biomedical research. The institute asked us to edit and design a book on issues around incapacity care. The content required insightful editing, proofreading and typesetting, based on close attention to the sensitive subject matter.

Sales collateral: Microsoft Tudor Rose has been writing, editing and designing sales collateral for Microsoft since 1999. During this time, we’ve worked with a large number of groups within the wider Microsoft organisation to deliver materials ranging from high-level strategy roadmaps to promotional event give-aways and from industry team e-newsletters to global partner guides.

Our editorial leadership in the context of Microsoft sales materials is backed by an extensive knowledge of the Windows platform and its applications across a wide range of industries.

Sales collateral: TTS TTS is a global enterprise that designs and supplies equipment for the marine and oil/gas industries, and is one of the largest suppliers in its market segments. The company needed a marketing approach to refl ect its innovative thinking in the fi eld of marine engineering. With our support it continues to do so.

This strong and transparent relationship between client and agency is particularly appropriate in an industry where trust is one of the most critical corporate assets. “The material is high impact and clearly articulates our key messages at the right level for our audience.” Tone Hesjedal, marketing manager, TTS Group ASA.

Sales collateral: CRYPTOCard With thousands of customers in over 70 countries, CRYPTOCard offers authentication products that enable the highest level of password security across any IT system. Since 2007, the company has partnered with Tudor Rose to create marketing materials that have been successfully targeted to both business and technical decision maker audiences.

Collateral produced by our team includes customer case studies, brochures, white papers, sales guides, PowerPoint presentations and trade show graphics.

Advertising campaigns: Developmentor Developmentor delivers consulting, mentoring and learning services for all aspects of software development. The company’s in-depth curriculum includes more than 60 courses spanning the entire software development lifecycle.

Tudor Rose has been involved in the creation of print campaigns to advertise Developmentor’s ‘Guerrilla’ immersion events,

targeted at customers wishing to realise the value of their learning investment.

Advertising campaigns: Xface We created a range of advertising materials for Microsoft Surface partner and retail systems specialist Xface. This involved listening to the company to gain a thorough grasp of the key messages for this groundbreaking technology developer. The resulting advertisement design enabled Xface to reach its target market in the most effective way possible.

Corporate identity: Argility Argility is an international software company that provides merchandising and point-of-sale solutions to world-class retailers. Headquartered in South Africa, the company needed to launch its enterprise in Europe, bringing a freshness of approach to a market unaware of the organisation’s established credentials.

Our brief was to create a unique identity for the company, to give an immediacy and freshness to its appeal and to ensure a quick route to wider recognition and credibility.

Corporate identity: James Edwards Golf Design This independent golf course architect required a full suite of collateral to promote his growing business, including corporate identity, website design, copywriting and stationery. We researched the highly competitive golf course design market and created a compelling identity for his services. Our inspiration for the design grew out of the plasticity of landscape elements – water, sand and grass.

“Tudor Rose created a highly professional image for my company and really helped me to differentiate the business offering.” James Edwards

Corporate identity: Indiginox Indiginox provides consulting, development and project management services for mobile, open source and Internet technology projects. The facilitation of boundary-crossing, both technological and geographical, is a key tenet in the company’s offerings and this idea was central to discussions around the brand’s development. The introduction of a cross device to form the ‘X’ then became a versatile focal symbol across sub-brands and marketing collateral. In addition to the identity, we supplied a range of marketing services, including graphic design and copywriting.

Web design: OnWindows.com OnWindows.com offers a single source of news, information and resources about Microsoft and Microsoft-partner technologies in the enterprise. For end customers, the site provides a wealth of information about how the company and its partners are helping businesses in industry.

OnWindows has a unique community of users seeking solutions and services to help them extend the return on their investment in the Windows platform. For partners, the site provides a valuable channel to distribute product news, case studies and thought leadership.

Web design: Golf Course Architecture This website provides a unique focus on the practicalities of golf course design and the stories behind the creative personalities involved. Content includes commentary from leading industry sources worldwide.

The site is the online home of the successful Golf Course Architecture printed magazine and is complemented by a monthly e-newsletter and online supplier directory,GCA Green Pages.

Web design: The Cutting Company The Cutting Company hired us to develop and build a high-impact website for its services. We relished the opportunity to bring design inspiration to this style-led project. The site is also highly practical, allowing for easy maintenance and updating by the client with the content management tools we supplied.

Copywriting: United Nations Development Programme This special report, written and designed by Tudor Rose, documents the proceedings from a three-day global meeting on the topic of capacity development for disaster risk reduction. Our attendance at the meeting gave us the level of understanding of the discussions and conclusions necessary to compile the report, which was developed in close cooperation with staff from the United Nations Development Programme.

Copywriting: Frilford Heath Golf Club Oxfordshire golf club Frilford Heath required copywriting services to promote its facilities, regarded as among the best in the south of England. We put our insider understanding of the UK golf industry to good use, writing informed text that promotes the club to an experienced and demanding clientele.

Onscreen presentations: Rockwell Automation This leading industrial automation company helps manufacturers worldwide to integrate their IT capabilities. Our brief was to generate a brochure and PowerPoint presentation to support the company’s powerful industry alliances and express its commitment to transformative and convergent applications of technology. Tech-savvy copywriting and industry-specifi c graphic design were the key services we provided to this client.

Onscreen presentations: PTC PTC delivers global product lifecycle management (PLM) software solutions. The company needed presentation materials offering an overview of PTC’s Windchill Web Parts for Microsoft SharePoint. Our presentation examined ways of engaging the extended enterprise, highlighting the complementary strengths of Microsoft and PTC, and exploring the benefi ts of Windchill Web Parts for SharePoint.

Retail display and point-of-sale: DP Cappuccino Espresso DP Cappuccino Espresso has brought the UK high street coffee revolution into the exhibition and event business. Shops are to be found at all major UK exhibition venues including NEC, Excel, Earls Court and Olympia.

With the help of Tudor Rose, DP developed the brand to provide a full ‘coffee house’ experience, rolled out through a variety of sub-branded outlets. We evolved the logos as well as counter and display unit designs, with all visual merchandising refl ecting DP’s commitment to ethical coffee sourcing.

Retail display and point-of-sale: The Flying Coffee Bean The Flying Coffee Bean has established a chain of coffee outlets on UK railway stations. Tudor Rose was commissioned to design the logo devices, followed by a series of panelscapes to extend the branding around the retail units, developing thematic references to the company’s core values around fairly traded products. The result: a visually arresting image that allows this coffee retailer to stand out from competing outlets.
