Theatrical Movie Fly Me To MinamiProduc5on No5ce Singapore based Duckbill Entertainment con5nues their effort to create global entertainment content from Asia. With Duckbill’s first liveac5on movie, ” Fly Me To Minami " the produc5on has entered the final stage. We had par5cipated in Osaka Asian Film Fes5val compe55on in March with “Rush” version and it was received warmly in three occasions. This work is filmed in Osaka Minami, Seoul and Hong Kong. These three ci5es stage sad and beau5ful love stories. Director Lim Kah Wai, upandcoming filmmaker from Malaysia, who depicts and maximizes the charm of the three ci5es. We hope this small film may increase awareness of Osaka, Japan and may many people visit Minami district of the city. Also this film is seeking distribu5on partners and sponsors in Hong Kong and other Asian countries. Press Release June 1, 2013 Duckbill Entertainment Pte. Ltd. Sherine, a talented editor of a leading Hong Kong fashion magazine was ordered to come to Osaka suddenly during winter holiday season. Because the assignment was in such a short no5ce, she could not get hold of professional photographers. Instead Sherine’s friend Naomi introduced her brother Tatsuya, an armature photographer for Sherine’s disposal. Through their work, distance between Sherine and Tatsuya gets closer. Solah, a part5me flight a_endant and a coowner of Japanese fashion shop in Seoul visits Osaka Minami to see Her lover, Shinsuke. He is married with a son and is running Korean shop in Minami. Solah tries to find out ways to get out from this nowayout situa5on. It was par5cularly cold winter in Minami. 1

[About  The  Director]  Ethnic  Chinese  Malaysian  film  Director  Lim  Kah  Wai  was  educated  in  Osaka,  Japan  and  Beijing.    He  has  been  called  “Cinema  Driber”  for  his  unique  style  of  film  making  in  various  Asian  places  in  mul5-­‐cultural  sedngs.    His  recent  three  works  in  this  genre  has  a_racted  interna5onal  a_en5on:    “Aber  All  These  Years  (2010)”,  “Magic  and  Loss  (2010)",  and  “Dawn  of  the  New  World  (2011)”,  Cinema  Driber  trilogy.
