FLYING RHINOS
Arantxa Golbano Rodríguez
The WWF Black Rhino Range Expansion Project aims to increase the range and numbers of black rhino in South Africa, and has created seven significant black rhino populations in eight years. Close to 120 black rhino have been translocated to date.
The seventh population was established recently after an epic 1,500 kilometre trip across the country. 19 of the critically endangered animals were moved from the Eastern Cape to a new location in Limpopo province.

Introduction to the topic (HOME)
It's where we live, work and dream.
It's our
sanctuary and our
refuge. We can love them
or hate
them.
It can be
just for the
night or for the rest of
our lives.
But whoever we
may be, we all
have a
place we call
home.
Animals Present society
Animals live in a variety of different kinds of homes:
from holes in the ground, to caves, nests and trees
some animals use natural habitat for their homes and others build their own home
some animals even live in other animal's homes
Increasingly, our society, especially organizations, are more interested in
protecting the habitat of animals and prevent
their extinction.
