INDUSTRIAL TOURISMIn 2012, the municipality of S. João da Madeira launched a project of Industrial Tourism comprised of a set of industrial tourist circuits, with the objective of combining the preservation of the industrial

archeological legacy with the promotion of industries, those considered traditional and those of a creative and technological nature, through visits to different factories in the county.

During these circuits, tourists can visit factories that produce pencils, hats, shoes, textiles, mattresses, labels and complement their visit with a magical trip to the industrial hat and shoe museums.

TURISMO INDUSTRIAL arqueológico industrial com a promoção das indústrias, as consideradas tradicio-nais e das novas indústrias criativas e tecnológicas, através da visita a diferentes unidades fabris no concelho.Dentro dos circuitos,

o turista poderá entrar em fábricas de produção de lápis, chapéus, sapatos, têxtil, colchões, etiquetas e complementar a sua visita com uma viagem mágica aos museus industriais da chapelaria e do calçado.
