Did You Know?
Shishito Frying Peppers have a long history of being a popular snack food in Japan!
The Shishito pepper is named for ‘the lion’ in Japanese,
from its unique shape and hot kick! The heat of the pepper is notoriously varied, from a very mild to spicy hot in about 1 in every 10 you try. So, be ready for a surprise when enjoying
these peppers!

All About Big Dipper Candles
Big Dipper’s candles are handcrafted in Seattle, and
use Northwest beeswax from our regional beekeepers.
Using a small batch process, Big Dipper is able to use a natural clay filtering
process to clean their wax of impurities. This gives each candle they make a natural color and honey-like aroma!
WeeklyRecipe
Ingredients
2 Cups of granola
5 Crisp apples, sliced
1/4 Cup of sugar
3 Tbsp. of unsalted butter
2 Tbsp. of all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. of lemon juice
Skillet Granola Apple Crisp
Preheat oven to 350°F. While oven is heating, melt butter in oven safe skillet over medium heat.1
Pour apples, lemon juice, and remaining sugar into the empty skillet. Cook the apples for 5 to 7 minutes, or until they are juicy and slightly softened. Then, stir in the remaining flour.
3
Add the granola mixture to the skillet evenly on top of the apples and place into the oven. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the crisp is bubbling and apples are tender. Serve warm and enjoy!
4
Add the granola, 1 tablespoon of the flour, and 1 tablespoon sugar to the skillet. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the granola is well-coated. Then, transfer mixture to a bowl and set aside.
