Expressive arts and design

Try using Busy things Busy paint today to draw you very own giant in the story of Jack and the beanstalk. You could send me a copy of your picture – maybe we could put it on the school website?

Understanding of the world

When you go shopping with your child, have a look at the different beans you can buy.You will see tinned beans, dried beans and fresh bean. Entice you child to try some different looking beans and vegetables by making a rainbow salad.

Name practise – please also use this time to practise name writing with your child every day. You could follow some of the advice on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swwxOB4MS-Y

Please do not get your child to write their full name in capitals, please only use a capital at the beginning and rest of the name in lower case.

Write your child’s name of a piece of card and cut it into pieces and challenge your child to put it back together again.
