Essentials for Operating to Singapore ! Changi is a large, busy airport. If you are able to use Seletar (1800m runway) – we highly recommend you do. ! Inbound and Outbound slots required for all operations.. ! In addition to airport slots, coordinate with fuel provider for a fuel slot. ! Ensure the local agent assists in filing the Flight Plan with ATC to avoid any delays. Filings to AFTN regularly require local follow-up. ! If Aircraft is exiting an MRO, ensure the MRO is in direct contact with local agent.

August 2015 Singapore CAA (CAAS) extends partnership with ICAO directive to increase aviation training and awareness in developing countries. June 2015 CAAS begins granting permits for unmanned aircraft operations. 2014 CAAS establishes new requirements for foreign operators, as well as an online portal for permit applications. All foreign operators must obtain an Operations Permit prior to revenue based operations into Singapore. Permits can be issued for up to five years, and will include inspections of aircraft as determined by CAAS.
