July Divisional Meeting: For those who don't know, it's a monthly gath-
ering to talk about past events as well as future events. It's also a great
way to meet new people from other schools of Division 8!
4th Annual Kiwanis Family Picnic: Have some fun outdoors playing dif-
ferent sports, wheelbarrow races, water balloon toss (and water fights),
frozen t-shirt contest, Ninja, Wah and many other activities that you will
have to attend in order to find out! With just one year left until its con-
clusion, all funds are for the Eliminate Project! $5 admission!
CPC Walkathon: Walkers begin the day at Columbus Park, Chinatown
with a lion dance, speeches by community leaders, and performances
by CPC program participants. Starting from Columbus Park, partici-
pants will walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to Cadman Plaza, Brooklyn.
Walkers will then be welcomed to a community rally at Cadman Plaza
and then ushered back to Columbus Park for the Community Service
Family Day Fair. The Community Service Family Day Fair consists of live
entertainment, raffles, games and community education booths from
CPC's Community Services, other community organizations, and event
sponsors.
Chinatown Beautification Day: Go out into the streets of Chinatown
armed with brooms, dustpans, and garbage bags and clean the
streets in Chinatown Youth Initiatives' (CYI) annual Chinatown Beautifi-
cation Day event! Volunteer hours and free CBD T-shirts will be provid-
ed for caring about the Chinatown community.
Dues: Dues are $15! The money is mandatory to officially be in Key
Club. The money will go straight to the organizations that fund Key Club
and keep it running. Please turn in the money as soon as possible!
