When built in 1903, it was the largest stone bridge. It passes high above the Pétrusse River, one of the two main gorges in the city. It is named for Grand Duke Adolphe, the first independent ruler of Luxembourg from 1890-1905. 2) Anno tate d plan: Red = our home. Pink = Adolphe Bridge and Golden Lady. Blue = City Hall and Palace.
